Payment & cancellation
These are the terms for stays booked directly with Diani Stays. No small print, no platform fees — just what you pay, when you pay it and what happens if plans change.
Payment
- DepositA 50% deposit confirms your reservation.
- BalanceThe remaining 50% must be paid no later than check-in.
- How to payPayment is accepted by M-Pesa or bank transfer.
- When it is confirmedA reservation is confirmed only after Diani Stays has received the deposit and sent written confirmation.
- Stays of 28 nights or moreLong stays are subject to separate terms.
Cancellation
Cancellation windows are counted from your check-in date. To cancel, message us on WhatsApp and we will confirm it in writing.
- Within 24 hours of confirmationFull refund, provided check-in is at least 7 days away.
- 14 days or more before check-inFull refund.
- 7–13 days before check-in50% of the paid deposit is refunded.
- Less than 7 days before check-inNo refund. The same applies to no-shows.
- If Diani Stays cancelsAll payments are refunded.
